A yogic pranayama technique that balances your nervous system in 3-4 minutes.
Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) is an ancient pranayama practice that harmonizes the left and right hemispheres of the brain by alternating airflow through each nostril. Research shows it reduces sympathetic nervous system activity, lowers blood pressure, and creates deep mental clarity and calm.
Use Vishnu Mudra: fold your right hand's index and middle fingers toward your palm. Your thumb controls the right nostril, and your ring finger controls the left. Keep your breath gentle and silent — never force.
This tool provides general self-help information based on traditional pranayama practices and is not medical, psychological, or emergency advice. It does not create a professional relationship. Stop if you feel unwell and consult a qualified professional where needed.
