Watch first
Why it works
When overwhelmed, our nervous system often drops into a "freeze" state. We become stiff, shallow-breathing, and immobile. Trying to force yourself out of it rarely works. Instead, we use tiny, gentle micro-movements to send a biological signal to the brain that "we are safe enough to move."
Use this when
- You feel physically paralyzed or "stuck" by anxiety
- You are holding intense tension in your neck or jaw
- You've been sitting in one position for too long
- You feel completely disconnected from your limbs
What you'll experience
Thaws the Freeze
Breaks the immobilization trauma response
Restores Blood Flow
Brings warmth back to the extremities
Signals Safety
Tells the nervous system the threat has passed
Gentle Entry
Doesn't require strenuous exercise
Keep in mind
- Keep the movements incredibly small. Do not force or stretch to the point of pain.
- If you have physical injuries, only move parts of your body that are safe and comfortable.
- You can stop at any time.
