Watch first
What this is
Switching between tasks, places, or modes is genuinely hard for many nervous systems — you carry the last thing into the next, feeling frazzled and never quite arrived. A transition buffer is a short, protected gap that lets your nervous system shift states. You name the switch, pick a buffer length, and decompress in a calm in-between space — no need to be "on." You step into the next thing at your own pace, carrying the calm with you.
