अर्थ: साईं राम का पवित्र नाम स्मरण किया गया है।
The sacred name of Sai Ram is remembered.
अर्थ: यह साईं चालीसा का आरंभ सूचित करता है।
This marks the beginning of the Sai Chalisa.
अर्थ: भक्त पहले साईं के चरणों में अपना सिर झुकाता है।
The devotee first bows his head at Sai’s feet.
अर्थ: भक्त बताना चाहता है कि साईं शिरडी कैसे आए।
The devotee wishes to narrate how Sai came to Shirdi.
अर्थ: साईं के माता-पिता कौन थे, यह किसी ने स्पष्ट नहीं जाना।
No one clearly knew who Sai’s parents were.
अर्थ: साईं का जन्म कहाँ हुआ, यह प्रश्न रहस्य बना रहा।
Where Sai was born remained a mysterious question.
अर्थ: कुछ लोग उन्हें अयोध्या के भगवान रामचन्द्र मानते हैं।
Some regard him as Lord Ramachandra of Ayodhya.
अर्थ: कुछ भक्त साईं बाबा को पवनपुत्र हनुमान मानते हैं।
Some devotees regard Sai Baba as Hanuman, the son of the wind god.
अर्थ: कुछ उन्हें मंगलमूर्ति श्री गणेश के रूप में मानते हैं।
Some regard Sai as the auspicious Lord Ganesha.
अर्थ: कुछ उन्हें गोकुल के मोहन, देवकीनंदन कृष्ण मानते हैं।
Some see him as Krishna, the charming son of Devaki from Gokul.
अर्थ: कई भक्त उन्हें शंकर मानकर भजते रहते हैं।
Many devotees worship him as Lord Shiva.
अर्थ: कुछ उन्हें दत्तात्रेय का अवतार मानकर साईं की पूजा करते हैं।
Some worship Sai as an incarnation of Dattatreya.
अर्थ: भक्त कहता है कि चाहे जैसे मानो, साईं सच्चे भगवान हैं।
The devotee says that however one sees him, Sai is truly divine.
अर्थ: साईं बड़े दयालु दीनबंधु हैं, जिन्होंने अनेक लोगों को जीवनदान दिया।
Sai is a deeply compassionate friend of the poor who gave new life to many.
अर्थ: भक्त कई वर्ष पहले की एक घटना सुनाने की बात करता है।
The devotee begins to narrate an incident from many years ago.
अर्थ: किसी भाग्यशाली व्यक्ति की बारात शिरडी आई थी।
A fortunate person’s wedding procession once came to Shirdi.
अर्थ: उस बारात के साथ एक बहुत सुंदर बालक भी आया था।
A very beautiful child came along with that wedding procession.
अर्थ: वह बालक वहीं बस गया और शिरडी नगर को पावन बना दिया।
That child settled there and made Shirdi a holy place.
अर्थ: कई दिनों तक वह दर-दर भिक्षा माँगते हुए घूमता रहा।
For many days he wandered from door to door asking for alms.
अर्थ: उसने ऐसी लीला दिखाई जो जग में अमर हो गई।
He displayed such divine acts that became immortal in the world.
अर्थ: जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ी, वैसे-वैसे उनकी महिमा बढ़ती गई।
As he grew older, his glory also grew.
अर्थ: नगर में घर-घर साईं बाबा का गुणगान होने लगा।
In every home of the town, Sai Baba’s praises began to be sung.
अर्थ: साईं जी का नाम दिशाओं में गूँजने लगा।
Sai Ji’s name began to echo in all directions.
अर्थ: दीन-दुखियों की रक्षा करना ही बाबा का मुख्य कार्य रहा।
Protecting the poor and suffering was Baba’s life’s work.
अर्थ: जो निर्धन होकर बाबा के चरणों में जाता था।
Whoever came to Baba’s feet saying he was helpless or poor.
अर्थ: बाबा उस पर दया करते और उसके दुखों के बंधन खुल जाते।
Baba showed compassion, and the bonds of that person’s sorrow were loosened.
अर्थ: कभी कोई भक्त बाबा से संतान का वर माँगता था।
Sometimes a devotee would ask Baba for the blessing of a child.
अर्थ: साईं ‘ऐसा ही हो’ कहकर उसे वरदान देते थे।
Sai would bless the devotee by saying, “So be it.”
अर्थ: दीन-दुखियों की दशा देखकर बाबा स्वयं दुखी हो जाते थे।
Seeing the suffering of the poor, Baba himself would feel sorrow.
अर्थ: साईं का अंतःकरण सागर की तरह विशाल था।
Sai’s heart was vast like an ocean.
अर्थ: एक मद्रासी भक्त आया जो बहुत धनी था।
A devotee from Madras came, and he was very wealthy.
अर्थ: उसके पास बहुत धन था, पर संतान नहीं थी।
He had great wealth and treasure, but no child.
अर्थ: वह साईनाथ से प्रार्थना करने लगा कि बाबा मुझ पर दया करें।
He prayed to Sainath, asking Baba to have mercy on him.
अर्थ: उसने कहा कि मेरी संकटग्रस्त नाव को आप ही पार लगाएँ।
He said, “Only you can carry my storm-tossed boat across.”
अर्थ: उसने कहा कि कुलदीपक बिना मेरे घर में अंधेरा है।
He said that without a child, his household was in darkness.
अर्थ: इसीलिए वह शरणागत होकर बाबा के पास आया था।
Therefore he came to Baba as one seeking refuge.
अर्थ: उसने कहा कि संतान के बिना सारी दौलत व्यर्थ है।
He said that without a child, all wealth is meaningless.
अर्थ: वह भिखारी बनकर बाबा की शरण में आया।
He came to Baba’s refuge like a beggar.
अर्थ: उसने पुत्र-दान माँगा और जीवन भर ऋणी रहने की बात कही।
He asked for the blessing of a son and promised lifelong gratitude.
अर्थ: उसने कहा कि उसे केवल बाबा पर भरोसा है, और किसी पर नहीं।
He said he had no hope in anyone else, only in Baba.
अर्थ: उसने सिर चरणों में रखकर बहुत विनती की।
He pleaded deeply with his head at Baba’s feet.
अर्थ: बाबा प्रसन्न हुए और भक्त को आशीर्वाद दिया।
Baba became pleased and gave the devotee a blessing.
अर्थ: बाबा ने कहा, ‘अल्लाह तेरा भला करेगा, तेरे घर पुत्र जन्म होगा।’
Baba said, “Allah will bless you; a son will be born in your home.”
अर्थ: बाबा ने कहा कि उस भक्त और उसके बालक पर कृपा बनी रहेगी।
Baba said grace would remain upon the devotee and his child.
अर्थ: अब तक किसी ने साईं की कृपा की सीमा नहीं पाई।
No one has ever found the limit of Sai’s grace.
अर्थ: साईं ने मद्रासी भक्त को पुत्र रत्न देकर उसका संसार धन्य किया।
Sai blessed the Madras devotee with a son and made his life blessed.
अर्थ: जो तन-मन से साईं को भजता है, उसका उद्धार होता है।
One who worships Sai with body and mind is uplifted.
अर्थ: सत्य को कोई हानि नहीं होती और असत्य अंत में हारता है।
Truth cannot be harmed, and falsehood always loses in the end.
अर्थ: भक्त कहता है कि वह सदा साईं के सहारे और उनका दास रहेगा।
The devotee says he will always rely on Sai and remain his servant.
अर्थ: साईं जैसा प्रभु मिलना ही बहुत बड़ा आश्रय है।
Having a Lord like Sai is itself a great blessing and support.
अर्थ: भक्त अपने पुराने दिनों को याद करता है जब उसे रोटी भी नहीं मिलती थी।
The devotee recalls a time when he could not even get food.
अर्थ: कपड़ों का भी अभाव था, केवल छोटी सी लंगोटी रह गई थी।
He lacked even clothing and had only a small loincloth left.
अर्थ: जल सामने होते हुए भी वह प्यासा ही रहता था।
Even with a river before him, he remained thirsty.
अर्थ: दुर्दिन उसके ऊपर दावानल जैसी विपत्ति बरसा रहे थे।
His hard days poured suffering upon him like a forest fire.
अर्थ: धरती के अलावा संसार में उसका कोई सहारा नहीं था।
He had no support in the world except the earth itself.
अर्थ: वह भिखारी बनकर दुनिया में दर-दर ठोकर खाता था।
He wandered like a beggar, suffering from door to door.
अर्थ: ऐसे समय उसे साईं का परम भक्त एक मित्र मिला।
At such a time, he met a friend who was a great devotee of Sai.
अर्थ: वह मित्र भी संसारिक बंधनों से मुक्त था, फिर भी स्थिति में उसके जैसा था।
That friend was free from worldly entanglements yet lived much like him.
अर्थ: दोनों ने साईं बाबा के दर्शन करने का विचार किया।
Together they decided to go for Sai Baba’s darshan.
अर्थ: वे साईं जैसे दयामूर्ति के दर्शन के लिए तैयार हो गए।
They prepared to behold Sai, the embodiment of compassion.
अर्थ: वे पावन शिरडी जाकर साईं की मोहक मूर्ति देखने पहुँचे।
They went to holy Shirdi and saw Sai’s captivating form.
अर्थ: साईं के दर्शन से उनका जन्म धन्य हो गया।
Their lives felt blessed when they saw Sai’s divine form.
अर्थ: साईं के दर्शन के बाद उनका सारा दुख दूर हो गया।
After Sai’s darshan, all their sorrow disappeared.
अर्थ: उनके संकट मिटे और विपत्तियों का अंत हो गया।
Their troubles were removed and their misfortunes came to an end.
अर्थ: बाबा से उन्हें मान-सम्मान भिक्षा के रूप में मिला।
From Baba they received honor and dignity as a blessing.
अर्थ: साईं की आभा से उनका जीवन जगत में प्रकाशित हो उठा।
Their lives began to reflect Sai’s radiance in the world.
अर्थ: बाबा ने उन्हें जीवन में सम्मान और मान दिया।
Baba gave them honor and respect in life.
अर्थ: इसी सहारे से भक्त जीवन में हँसते हुए आगे बढ़ने की बात करता है।
With this support, the devotee says he will move through life with a smile.
अर्थ: साई बाबा की लीला ने मेरे मन पर गहरा प्रभाव डाला।
Sai Baba’s divine acts deeply affected my heart.
अर्थ: मुझे लगता है कि वे संसार के हर कण में व्याप्त हैं।
It feels as if he is present in every particle of the world.
अर्थ: काशीराम नाम का बाबा का भक्त शिरडी में रहता था।
A devotee of Baba named Kashiram lived in Shirdi.
अर्थ: वह सबको कहता था कि मैं साई का हूँ और साई मेरे हैं।
He would tell everyone that he belonged to Sai and Sai belonged to him.
अर्थ: वह गांवों, नगरों और बाजारों में कपड़े बेचता था।
He sold clothes in villages, towns, and markets.
अर्थ: उसका हृदय हमेशा साई के नाम और भक्ति से गूंजता रहता था।
His heart always resonated with Sai’s name and devotion.
अर्थ: रात शांत थी और आकाश में चाँद-सितारे छाए हुए थे।
The night was silent, with the moon and stars spread across the sky.
अर्थ: अंधकार इतना था कि हाथ को हाथ भी दिखाई नहीं देता था।
The darkness was so deep that even one’s hand could not be seen.
अर्थ: काशी कपड़े बेचकर बाजार से लौट रहा था।
Kashi was returning from the market after selling clothes.
अर्थ: उस दिन संयोग से वह अकेला ही लौट रहा था।
By a strange coincidence, he was returning alone that day.
अर्थ: रास्ते में दुष्ट और अन्यायी लोगों ने उसे घेर लिया।
Wicked and unjust people surrounded him on the road.
अर्थ: वे उसे मारने, काटने और लूटने की आवाजें लगा रहे थे।
They shouted to beat, cut, and rob him.
अर्थ: दुष्ट लोग उसे लूट-पीटकर वहाँ से भाग गए।
The wicked men robbed and beat him, then fled from there.
अर्थ: चोटों से बुरी तरह घायल होकर वह बेहोश हो गया।
Badly wounded by the blows, he lost consciousness.
अर्थ: वह बहुत देर तक उसी हालत में वहीं पड़ा रहा।
He lay there for a long time in that same condition.
अर्थ: कुछ समय बाद उसे वहीं थोड़ी चेतना आई।
After some time, he regained a little consciousness there.
अर्थ: अनजाने में उसके मुख से साई का नाम निकला।
Unknowingly, Sai’s name came out of his mouth.
अर्थ: उस पुकार की गूंज शिरडी में बाबा तक पहुँच गई।
The echo of that call reached Baba in Shirdi.
अर्थ: बाबा का मन व्याकुल हो उठा और वे बेचैन हो गए।
Baba’s heart became disturbed and restless.
अर्थ: उन्हें लगा जैसे पूरी घटना उनके सामने ही घट रही हो।
It felt to him as if the whole event was happening before his eyes.
अर्थ: बाबा बेचैन होकर इधर-उधर घूमने लगे।
Baba began wandering here and there in great restlessness.
अर्थ: जो भी वस्तु सामने आई, बाबा उसे पटकने लगे।
Whatever came before him, Baba began throwing it aside.
अर्थ: बाबा ने जलते अंगारों में भी अपना हाथ डाल दिया।
Baba even placed his hand into the burning embers.
अर्थ: यह अनोखा रूप देखकर सभी लोग डर और आश्चर्य में पड़ गए।
Seeing this extraordinary state, everyone became frightened and amazed.
अर्थ: सब समझ गए कि कोई भक्त संकट में पड़ा है।
Everyone understood that some devotee was in danger.
अर्थ: सब लोग व्याकुल होकर आश्चर्य में खड़े रह गए।
All stood there disturbed and filled with wonder.
अर्थ: बाबा उस भक्त को बचाने के लिए अत्यंत बेचैन थे।
Baba was deeply restless in order to save that devotee.
अर्थ: भक्त की पीड़ा से बाबा का हृदय भी दुखी था।
Baba’s own heart was suffering from the devotee’s pain.
अर्थ: उसी समय ईश्वर ने अपनी अद्भुत लीला दिखाई।
At that moment, the Divine showed a wonderful miracle.
अर्थ: यह देखकर लोगों की श्रद्धा और भी बढ़ गई।
Seeing it, the people’s faith surged even more.
अर्थ: एक गाड़ी बेहोश भक्त को लेकर वहाँ आई।
A cart arrived there carrying the unconscious devotee.
अर्थ: अपने सामने भक्त को देखकर साई की आँखें भर आईं।
Seeing his devotee before him, Sai’s eyes filled with tears.
अर्थ: बाबा का हृदय शांत, धीर और समुद्र जैसा गंभीर था।
Baba’s heart was calm, patient, and deep like the ocean.
अर्थ: पर उस दिन उनका मन बार-बार चंचल हो रहा था।
Yet that day his heart kept becoming restless again and again.
अर्थ: दया की मूर्ति बाबा स्वयं सेवक और उपचारक बन गए।
Baba, the embodiment of compassion, himself became the healer.
अर्थ: भक्त के लिए वे रक्षक देवता की तरह खड़े थे।
For the devotee, he stood like a protecting deity.
अर्थ: भक्ति की कठिन परीक्षा में काशी सफल हुआ।
Kashi succeeded in the difficult test of devotion.
अर्थ: उस भक्त को देखने के लिए नगर के लोग उमड़ पड़े।
The townspeople gathered to see that devotee.
अर्थ: जब भी कहीं कोई भक्त संकट में पड़ता है।
Whenever and wherever a devotee falls into trouble.
अर्थ: बाबा उसकी रक्षा के लिए तुरंत पहुँच जाते हैं।
Baba arrives at once to protect them.
अर्थ: यह युगों से सत्य है, कोई नई बात नहीं।
This is an eternal truth, not a new story.
अर्थ: जब भक्त संकट में होता है, अंतर्यामी साई स्वयं जाते हैं।
When a devotee is in distress, the all-knowing Sai himself goes to help.
अर्थ: साई भेदभाव से परे, मानवता के पुजारी थे।
Sai was beyond discrimination and a worshipper of humanity.
अर्थ: हिन्दू, मुस्लिम, सिख और ईसाई सभी उन्हें समान प्रिय थे।
Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians were all equally dear to him.
अर्थ: बाबा ने मंदिर-मस्जिद का भेद मिटा दिया।
Baba removed the division between temple and mosque.
अर्थ: राम, रहीम, कृष्ण, करीम और अल्लाह सब उनके लिए एक थे।
For him, Ram, Rahim, Krishna, Karim, and Allah were all one.
अर्थ: मस्जिद का हर कोना घंटों की ध्वनि से गूंज उठा।
Every corner of the mosque echoed with the sound of bells.
अर्थ: हिन्दू और मुस्लिम आपस में मिले और प्रेम बढ़ता गया।
Hindus and Muslims came together, and love kept increasing.
अर्थ: यह कितना सुंदर चमत्कार था, जो बाबा की देह ने दिखाया।
It was a beautiful miracle shown through Baba’s living form.
अर्थ: बाबा ने नीम की कड़वाहट में भी मिठास भर दी।
Baba filled even the bitterness of neem with sweetness.
अर्थ: साई ने सबको स्नेह और समान प्रेम दिया।
Sai gave affection and equal love to everyone.
अर्थ: जिसने जो चाहा, बाबा ने उसे वही प्रदान किया।
Whatever anyone desired, Baba granted it to them.
अर्थ: जो ऐसे प्रेममय बाबा का नाम सदा जपता है।
Whoever constantly chants the name of such a loving Baba.
अर्थ: उसका पर्वत जैसा दुख भी पलभर में दूर हो जाता है।
Even mountain-like sorrow goes away in a moment.
अर्थ: साई जैसा दानी मैंने कोई नहीं देखा।
I have never seen a giver like Sai.
अर्थ: उनके केवल दर्शन से ही सारी विपत्तियाँ दूर हो जाती हैं।
By merely seeing him, all troubles go away.
अर्थ: तन और मन में साई को बसाकर साई-साई जप करो।
Keep Sai in body and mind and chant Sai’s name.
अर्थ: अपने शरीर की चिंता छोड़कर साई का स्मरण करो।
Forget concern for the body and remember Sai.
अर्थ: जब तुम अपनी सुध छोड़कर बाबा का ध्यान करोगे।
When you forget yourself and remember Baba.
अर्थ: और दिन-रात बाबा-बाबा का नाम जपोगे।
And chant Baba’s name day and night.
अर्थ: तब बाबा को तुम्हारी सुध अवश्य लेनी होगी।
Then Baba will surely have to take care of you.
अर्थ: बाबा तुम्हारी हर इच्छा पूरी करेंगे।
Baba will fulfill your every wish.
अर्थ: बाबा को खोजने के लिए जंगल-जंगल मत भटको।
Do not wander through forests searching for Baba.
अर्थ: तुम बाबा को केवल शिरडी में पा सकते हो।
You can find Baba only in Shirdi.
अर्थ: वह मनुष्य धन्य है जिसने बाबा को पाया।
Blessed is the person who has found Baba.
अर्थ: जो सुख-दुख हर समय साई का गुणगान करता है।
One who praises Sai at all times, in joy and sorrow.
अर्थ: चाहे संकटों के पहाड़ गिरें या बिजली टूट पड़े।
Even if mountains of trouble fall or lightning strikes.
अर्थ: साई का नाम लेकर सदा धैर्य से सामने खड़े रहो।
Take Sai’s name and stand firm before everything.
अर्थ: इस बूढ़े बाबा की करामत सुनकर तुम हैरान हो जाओगे।
You will be amazed to hear the wonders of this old Baba.
अर्थ: जिसे सुनकर अनेक बुद्धिमान लोग भी दंग रह गए।
Many wise people were astonished on hearing it.
अर्थ: एक बार शिरडी में एक ढोंगी साधु आया।
Once, a fake saint came to Shirdi.
अर्थ: उसने भोले-भाले नगरवासियों को भ्रमित किया।
He misled the innocent townspeople.
अर्थ: वह जड़ी-बूटियाँ दिखाकर लोगों को भाषण देने लगा।
He began lecturing people while showing herbs.
अर्थ: वह बोला, हे श्रोताओं, मेरा घर वृन्दावन है।
He said, “Listen, people, my home is Vrindavan.”
अर्थ: उसने कहा कि मेरे पास एक अद्भुत शक्ति वाली औषधि है।
He claimed he had a medicine with amazing power.
अर्थ: इसके सेवन से दुखों से मुक्ति मिल जाती है।
By taking it, one becomes free from sorrow.
अर्थ: यदि तुम संकट और बीमारी से मुक्त होना चाहते हो।
If you want freedom from trouble and illness.
अर्थ: तो हर स्त्री-पुरुष से मेरा विनम्र निवेदन है।
Then this is my humble request to every man and woman.
अर्थ: इसे खरीद लो, इसके सेवन की विधि बहुत अनोखी है।
Buy this; its method of use is very special.
अर्थ: यह वस्तु छोटी है, पर इसके गुण बहुत बड़े हैं।
Though this thing is small, its qualities are great.
अर्थ: जो निःसंतान व्यक्ति मेरी औषधि खाएगा।
Whoever is childless and takes my medicine.
अर्थ: उसे पुत्र-रत्न और मनचाहा फल मिलेगा।
They will receive a son and the desired blessing.
अर्थ: जो मेरी औषधि नहीं खरीदेगा, वह जीवन भर पछताएगा।
Whoever does not buy my medicine will regret it all life.
अर्थ: मेरे जैसा व्यक्ति शायद फिर यहाँ न आए।
A person like me may never come here again.
अर्थ: दुनिया क्षणभंगुर है, इसलिए सुख-मौज कर लो।
The world is temporary, so enjoy your pleasures.
अर्थ: यदि इससे सब कुछ मिलता है, तो तुम भी इसे ले लो।
If everything can be gained from this, then you should take it too.
अर्थ: उसकी चालाकी देखकर लोगों की हैरानी बढ़ती गई।
Seeing his trickery, the people’s amazement kept increasing.
अर्थ: लोगों की नादानी देखकर वह मन ही मन प्रसन्न था।
Seeing the people’s innocence, he was secretly pleased.
अर्थ: एक सेवक यह खबर देने बाबा के पास दौड़ा।
A servant ran to Baba to give this news.
अर्थ: यह सुनकर बाबा क्रोधित हो उठे और विवेक भूल गए।
Hearing this, Baba became angry and lost all calm.
अर्थ: उन्होंने सेवक को तुरंत दुष्ट को पकड़ लाने का आदेश दिया।
He ordered the servant to quickly bring that wicked man.
अर्थ: या उस कपटी को शिरडी की सीमा से दूर भगा देने को कहा।
Or to drive that deceiver far away from Shirdi’s limits.
अर्थ: बाबा ने कहा, मेरे रहते शिरडी की भोली जनता को।
Baba said, while I am here, the innocent people of Shirdi.
अर्थ: कौन ऐसा नीच है जो उन्हें छलने का साहस करे।
Who is so vile as to dare deceive them?
अर्थ: ऐसे ढोंगी, कपटी और नीच लुटेरे को।
Such a fake, deceitful, and vile robber.
अर्थ: मैं जीवन भर के लिए विनाश के गर्त में पहुँचा दूँगा।
I will throw him into ruin for life.
अर्थ: उस क्रूर और कुटिल मदारी को थोड़ा संकेत मिल गया।
That cruel and crooked trickster got a hint of danger.
अर्थ: उसे लगा कि अब साई का क्रोध उसके सिर पर काल बनकर नाच रहा है।
He felt Sai’s anger was now dancing like death over his head.
अर्थ: वह तुरंत अपना खेल बंद कर भाग गया।
He stopped his show at once and ran away.
अर्थ: वह मन में सोच रहा था कि अब भगवान खैर करें।
He thought to himself, “May God save me now.”
अर्थ: सच है, जगत में साई जैसा दानी नहीं मिलेगा।
It is true; no giver like Sai can be found in the world.
अर्थ: साई बाबा ईश्वर के अंश हैं, उनके लिए कुछ भी कठिन नहीं।
Sai Baba is a part of the Divine; nothing is difficult for him.
अर्थ: जो प्रेम, शील और सौजन्य को अपने जीवन का आभूषण बनाता है।
One who wears love, virtue, and kindness as ornaments.
अर्थ: और मानव सेवा के मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ता है।
And moves forward on the path of human service.
अर्थ: वही संसार के लोगों के हृदय जीत लेता है।
Such a person wins the hearts of people in the world.

He removes sin and injustice from the world.
अर्थ: और दुष्टता को क्षण भर में भगा देता है।
And drives away evil in a moment.
अर्थ: संसार में प्रेम-अमृत की धारा बहने लगती है।
A stream of loving nectar begins to flow in the world.
अर्थ: लोग आपस में प्रेम से गले मिलने लगते हैं।
People begin embracing each other with love.
अर्थ: ऐसे अवतारी साई ने धरती पर आकर।

अर्थ: अपना अहं मिटाकर सबको समानता का पाठ पढ़ाया।
By dissolving ego, he taught equality to all.
अर्थ: साई ने शिरडी की मस्जिद का नाम द्वारका रखा।

अर्थ: जो भी उनके पास आया, उसका दुख, ताप और संताप मिटाया।

अर्थ: साई हमेशा राम की याद में लीन रहते थे।

अर्थ: वे दिन-रात राम नाम का भजन करते रहते थे।

अर्थ: सूखा, रूखा, ताजा, बासी या पकवान कोई भी भोजन हो।

अर्थ: अपनी पीड़ा सुनाने के लिए बाबा को घेर लेते थे।

अर्थ: उनकी करुण कथा सुनकर बाबा की आँखें भर आती थीं।
Hearing their sorrowful stories, Baba’s eyes filled with tears.
अर्थ: विभूति देकर वे हर दुख दूर करते और हृदय में शांति भरते थे।
Giving sacred ash, he removed every pain and filled hearts with peace.
अर्थ: उस विभूति में कौन-सी अद्भुत शक्ति थी।
What wonderful power there was in that sacred ash.
अर्थ: जो उसे माथे पर लगाता, उसका सारा दुख दूर हो जाता।
Whoever applied it on the forehead had all sorrow removed.
अर्थ: धन्य वे लोग हैं जिन्होंने साई बाबा के साक्षात दर्शन पाए।
Blessed are those who received Sai Baba’s direct darshan.
अर्थ: धन्य उनके हाथ हैं जिन्होंने उनके चरण कमलों को छुआ।
Blessed are the hands that touched his lotus feet.
अर्थ: काश तुम्हें भी निडर होकर साई के साक्षात दर्शन मिल जाते।
If only you too could fearlessly meet Sai in person.
अर्थ: तो वर्षों से उजड़ा जीवन फिर से खिल उठता।
Then your long-desolate life would blossom again.
अर्थ: यदि मैं उनके श्रीचरण पकड़ता, तो उम्रभर न छोड़ता।
If I held his holy feet, I would never leave them for life.
अर्थ: यदि साई मुझसे रूठते, तो मैं उन्हें जरूर मना लेता।
If Sai became displeased with me, I would surely win him back.
अर्थ: सबका स्वामी एक ही है।
The master of all is one.
