Shloka Translation (IAST)
bhagnaikhaḍagaiḥ gadābhiścaśaktitomara-paṭṭasaḥ | apaviddhaiścābhinnaiścarathaiḥ sāṅgrāmi-kairhayaiḥ || 6.43.42 || nihataiḥ kuñjarair mats-saiḥ tathā vānararākṣasaiḥ | cakrākṣaya-yuga-daṇḍaiśca bhagnair dharaṇi-sanśritaiḥ || 6.43.43 || babhūvāyodhanaghorango-māyugaṇa-sevitam.
Shloka Meaning in English
The battlefield was dreadful and, frequented by jackals with spears, javelins, maces, and swords, strewn all over, similarly with broken chariots, horses, elephants, and monkeys fit for war. Broken wheels and axles of chariots were found all over.
