१-९ बृहद्दिवोऽथर्वा। वरुणः। त्रिष्टुप्, ९ भुरिक् परातिजागता त्रिष्टुप्।
तदिदा॑स॒ भुव॑नेषु॒ ज्येष्ठं॒ यतो॑ यज्ञ उ॒ग्र स्त्वे॒षनृ॑म्णः ।
स॒द्यो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो नि रि॑णाति॒ शत्रू॒ननु॒ यदे॑नं॒ मद॑न्ति॒ विश्व॒ ऊमाः॑
English Translation
In the worlds, the greatest one is the powerful Varuna. When we perform a strong sacrifice, he helps us overcome our enemies.
