१-३ अथर्वा। (स्वस्त्ययनकामः)। मृत्युः। अनुष्टुप्।
नमो॑ देवव॒धेभ्यो॒ नमो॑ राजव॒धेभ्यः॑ ।
अथो॒ ये विश्या॑नां व॒धास्तेभ्यो॑ मृत्यो॒ नमो॑ऽस्तु ते
English Translation
Salutations to the gods of death. Salutations to the kings of death. And to those who cause death, we offer our respect.

मृत्यु के देवताओं को प्रणाम। मृत्यु के राजाओं को प्रणाम। और जो मृत्यु लाते हैं, उन्हें हम अपने आदर दिखाते हैं।
