hā sītē lakṣmaṇety evam ākrūṣya ca mahāsvaram | mamāra rākṣasas so ‘yaṁ śrutvā sītā kathaṁ bhavet || 3.44.24 || lakṣmaṇaś ca mahābāhuḥ kāmavasthāṁ gamiṣyati | iti sañcintya dharmātmā rāmo hṛṣṭatanūruhaḥ || 3.44.25 ||
