मममातुर्वरोदत्तोमन्दरेविश्वकर्मणा । औरसस्तस्यपुत्रोऽहंसदृशोविश्वकर्मणा ।।6.22.49।। नचाप्यहमनुक्तोवःप्रब्रूयामात्मनोगुणान् । समर्थश्चाप्यहंसेतुंकर्तुंवैवरुणालये ।।6.22.50।। स्मारितोऽस्म्यहमेतेनतत्त्वमहामहोदधिः । काममद्वैवबध्नन्तुसेतुंवानरपुङ्गवाः ।।6.22.51।।

mamamāturvarodattomandareviśvakarmaṇā | aurasastasyaputro’haṃsādṛśo viśvakarmaṇā || 6.22.49 || nacāpyaham anukto’vaḥ prabrūyām ātmanogunān | samarthaś cāpyahaṃsetuṃ kartuṃ vaivaruṇālayae || 6.22.50 || smārito’smy aham etena tattvam ahāmahodadhiḥ | kāmam advaivabadhnantu setuṃ vānara puṅgavāḥ || 6.22.51 ||

“On the Mandara mountain Vishwakarma gave a boon to my mother. I am that Vishwakarma’s own son, and I am like him at work by that cause. I have put in my memory all about the ocean. I am aware of the truth of the ocean. I could not speak of my qualities unless questioned. I can build a bridge over the abode of Varuna.Right away let the Vanara leaders get the material required for building the bridge (said Nala).”
