nivāryamāṇastu mayā hitaiṣiṇā na mṛṣyase vākyamidaṃ niśācara | paretakalpā hi gatāyuṣo narā hitaṃ na gṛhṇanti suhṛdbhirīritam || 3.41.20 ||

O Ravana, you do not understand this word of warning coming from your wellwisher.
