Eight sages, Vasishta, Vama Deva, Jabali, Kasyapa, Katyayana, Suyajna, Gautama and Vijaya consecrated Sri Rama, the tiger among men, with pure fragrant waters as the Vasus consecrated the thousand eyed Indra.
