आत्मैवादौ नियन्तव्यॊ दुष्कृतं समियच्छता
दन्दयेच च महादन्तैर अपि बन्धून अनन्तरान

जीवन में, आत्मा ही अंतिम मार्गदर्शक होती है और उसे अपने कार्यों पर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए। जैसे राजा आवश्यकतानुसार अपने निकटतम परिजनों को दंड देता है, वैसे ही व्यक्तियों को अपने कार्यों का सामना करना चाहिए।
