न कर्मणाम अनारम्भान नैष्कर्म्यं पुरुषॊ ऽशनुते
न च संन्यसनाद एव सिद्धिं समधिगच्छति

One cannot attain perfection without undertaking action.

English Translation

This shloka conveys that merely refraining from actions (inaction) does not lead to the state of perfection or liberation (moksha). Also, the renunciation (sannyasa) of actions without understanding the nature of duty will not result in achieving success or fulfillment.
