⚡ Quick Meaning

The urge for desires does not cease from impurities, rather it diminishes much like sin ultimately fades away.

Translations

English Translation

This shloka indicates that the thirst for desire does not extinguish through tainted actions; instead, it reduces over time, similar to how sins culminating in regret eventually dissipate from conscious memory. It highlights the importance of purification.
