⚡ Quick Meaning
Just as air can be either pure or impure, the wise understand the difference between the field and the field-knower and that continuous practice can prevent regression to one’s inherent nature.
Translations
English Translation
This verse explains that the wise discern the difference between the physical body (the field) and the soul (the knower of the field). Like air, which can either be pure or polluted, when one is steadfast in understanding and practice, they remain unaffected by the negative influences of their inherent nature.
