मृगस तु विद्धॊ बाणेन मया सरति शल्यवान
तं दरवन्तम अनु पराप्तॊ वनम एतद यदृच्छया
भवत सकाशे नष्टश्रीर हताशः शरमकर्शितः

मैंने अपने बाण से एक मृग को मारा है और उसके पीछे जाते हुए, संयोगवश इस वन में आ पहुंचा हूं। मैंने अपनी संपत्ति खो दी है और थक गया हूं, इस वनों में शरण की तलाश कर रहा हूं।
