तरैवार्षिकाद यदा भक्ताद अधिकं सयाद दविजस्य तु
यजेत तेन दरव्येण न वृथा साधयेद धनम

जब कोई द्विज (दो बार जने हुए) यज्ञ करते हैं, यदि पारंपरिक से अधिक की इच्छा होती है, तो उसे उचित बलिदानों के माध्यम से पूर्ति करनी चाहिए; अन्यथा धन को प्रभावी ढंग से नहीं प्राप्त किया जाएगा।
