सिंहस्येव गन्धम आघ्राय गावः; संवेष्टन्ते शत्रवॊ ऽसयाद यथाग्नेः

जब एक साहसी योद्धा लंबी बाहों और मजबूत धनुष के साथ युद्ध करने के लिए हिम्मत जुटाता है, तो शत्रु उसके चारों ओर उस ताजे बाघ की गंध को भाँपते हुए गायों की तरह इकट्ठा होते हैं, जैसे आग से उत्पन्न भय।
