दृष्ट्वैव बाणेन हतं तु नागं; यॊधांश च सर्वान दरवतॆ निशम्य
रथं समावृत्य कुरुप्रवीरॊ; रणात परदुद्राव यतॊ न पार्थः

नाग को बाण से हत होते देख कर और सभी योद्धाओं की आवाज सुन कर, कुरुप्रवीर रथ को घेरे हुए, रणभूमि से भाग गए, जहाँ पार्थ मुह में नहीं थे।
