ṛṣīṇāṃ devatānāṃ ca gandharvā apsarasāṃ tathā || 6.41.62 || nāgānām atha yakṣāṇāṃ rājñāṃ ca rajanīcara || yac ca pāpaṃ kṛtaṃ mohād avaliptaṃ narākṣasa || 6.41.63 || nūnaṃ te vigato darpaḥ svayambhu vara-dāna-jaḥ || tasya pāpasya samprāptāv vyuṣṭir adya durasādā || 6.41.64 ||

“O night ranger! the time has come for punishment for the sins committed by you to the sages, Devatas, so also to Gandharvas, celestial beauties, Nagas, Yakshas and the kings because of your delusion in conceit.
