आर्तहस्तप्रदॊ राजा परेत्य चेह महीयते
गॊब्राह्मणार्थे विक्रान्तः संग्रामे निधनं गतः
अश्वमेध जिताँल लॊकान पराप्नॊति तरिदिवालये

English Translation

A wise king earns respect and admiration if he aids the suffering; those who fight for cows and Brahmins, and those who sacrifice in Ashwamedha ceremonies, attain exalted positions in the afterlife.

एक ज्ञानी राजा जो दुखियों की सहायता करता है, सम्मान और प्रशंसा प्राप्त करता है; वे जो गायों और ब्राह्मणों के लिए लड़ते हैं तथा अश्वमेध समारोहों में बलिदान करते हैं, परलोक में उच्च स्थान प्राप्त करते हैं।
