Mahabharata Udyoga Parva –

⚡ Quick Meaning

The restless mind, driven by the senses, loses its true self, just as swans float on a dry pond.

Translations

English Translation

This verse illustrates that a mind entangled by sensory distractions loses its essence. Much like swans that cannot thrive in a dried-up pond, an unsettled mind fails to connect with its true nature and potential.
