अकुलीनस तु पुरुषः परकृतः साधु संक्षयात
दुर्लभैश्वर्यतां पराप्तॊ निन्दितः शत्रुतां वरजेत

एक नीच जाति का व्यक्ति, भले ही धनवान हो जाए, उसे अपनी नीचता के कारण उपजे दुश्मनी और आलोचना से दूर रहना चाहिए। सफलता को अहंकार या दूसरों के प्रति contempt में नहीं बदलना चाहिए, क्योंकि इससे दुश्मन उत्पन्न हो सकते हैं।
