ततो देवॊ गिरिशॊ वज्रपाणिं;
विवृत्य नेत्रे कुपितॊ ऽभयुवाच
दरीम एतां परविश तवं शतक्रतॊ;
यन मां बाल्याद अवमंस्थाः पुरस्तात

तब, भगवान गिरिश ने क्रोधित होकर अपनी आँखें खोलीं, और वज्रधारी से कहा, “इस गुफा में प्रवेश करो जहाँ मैं हूँ, क्योंकि तुमने मुझे अपने बचपन से ही छोटा समझा है।”
