न भयेभ्यॊ भयं तस्य न पापेभ्यॊ न राजतः
आ देहपतनाद गङ्गाम उपास्ते यः पुमान इह

जिस व्यक्ति ने गंगा की पूजा की है, उसे भयभीत करने वाले तत्वों से, पापों से और शासकों से कोई डर नहीं होता है। ऐसा भक्ति करने वाला व्यक्ति मृत्यु के समय भी अचंभित नहीं होता।
