तद दृष्ट्वा घॊररूपं तु दरौणेर अस्त्रं भयावहम

राजाओं ने दरौण के अस्त्र का भयानक रूप देखकर आतंकित हो गए। यह नज़ारा इतना डरावना था कि यहाँ तक की साहसी राजाओं की भी हिम्मत सच में डगमगा गई। उन्होंने दरौण के युद्ध कौशल से पैदा हुए इस भय के आगे झुकना पड़ा।
