Sanskrit Verse
(१-७) १-५ गोतमः, ७ अष्टकः। इन्द्रः। जगती, ७ त्रिष्टुप्।
अश्वा॑वति प्रथ॒मो गोषु॑ गच्छति सुप्रा॒वीरि॑न्द्र॒ मर्त्य॒स्तवो॒तिभिः॑ ।
तमित् पृ॑णक्षि॒ वसु॑ना॒ भवी॑यसा॒ सिन्धु॒मापो॒ यथा॒भितो॒ विचे॑तसः
अश्वा॑वति प्रथ॒मो गोषु॑ गच्छति सुप्रा॒वीरि॑न्द्र॒ मर्त्य॒स्तवो॒तिभिः॑ ।
तमित् पृ॑णक्षि॒ वसु॑ना॒ भवी॑यसा॒ सिन्धु॒मापो॒ यथा॒भितो॒ विचे॑तसः
English Translation
The first horse goes to the herds, strong Indra, with your power. Make the waters flow like thoughts in the mind.

पहला घोड़ा गायों के पास जाता है, मजबूत इंद्र, आपकी शक्ति के साथ। पानी को ऐसे बहाओ जैसे मन में विचार चलते हैं।
