itīva tasyaṃ paruṣaṃ vadantyāṃ na caiva rāmaḥ praviveśa śokam | pravivyathe cāpi mahānubhāvo rājā tu putravyasanābhitaptaḥ || 2.18.41 ||

Even though she was speaking harsh words, Rama did not come to grief.
