Mahabharata Shanti Parva –

⚡ Quick Meaning

As a calf finds its mother among countless cows, so too do actions follow their doer.

Translations

English Translation

This shloka beautifully illustrates that one’s actions, like a calf seeking its mother, will ultimately return to the doer. Just as a calf instinctively identifies its mother from a herd, karma follows each individual, bringing back the results of past deeds.
