यह श्लोक जीवन और प्रकृति के संरक्षण के महत्व को व्यक्त करता है, बताता है कि जो बाघ असुरक्षित होता है वह अंततः मारा जाएगा, और जंगल भी काटा जाएगा, इसलिए बाघ को जंगल की रक्षा करनी चाहिए और जंगल को बाघ की।
